As they build, children enhance their dexterity, paving the way for improved writing skills in the future. But the fun doesn’t stop there! Collaborative group projects inspire teamwork and camaraderie, forging lasting friendships and bringing a sense of accomplishment with every completed masterpiece.

Description: Get ready to unleash your creativity! Grab your brushes, canvases, and don an apron because it’s time to paint! We will be studying two contrasting contemporary artists and recreating their styles in a fun craft setting.
Born on March 22, 1929, in the vibrant city of Matsumoto, Japan, Yayoi Kusama is a trailblazer in contemporary art. Her legendary use of polka dots and immersive installations has captivated audiences worldwide, solidifying her status as an artistic icon.

Week 3: Creative Kids: Sing & Crafts

Week 4: World music, Art, Culture & Food!

Description: The world is a vibrant tapestry of art, culture, food, and music, and we are about to embark on an exciting journey to two extraordinary destinations that offer a wide variety of experiences to see, taste, and savor!
**Our first stop is Korea!** 안녕하세요 (annyeonghaseyo!) In this lively country, we will dive into the pulsating energy of K-pop music, discovering popular groups and their catchy dance moves. As we stroll through bustling markets, we will savor the delightful flavors of traditional Korean street food—think crispy hotteok (sweet pancakes), savory tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), and the ever-popular kimbap (Korean rice rolls). To embrace the culture further, we will participate in traditional games like Yutnori, a board game that combines luck and strategy, and try our hand at creating beautiful Korean art, such as calligraphy or hanbok-inspired crafts.
**Next, we’re off to Australia!** G’day, mate! Upon arrival, the vibrant spirit of the land welcomes us with open arms. We will enjoy the cheerful songs and dances of The Wiggles, engaging in interactive musical sessions that inspire fun and creativity. Not far behind, Bluey, the lovable cartoon dog, will teach us about friendship, family, and imagination as we enjoy themed activities and crafts. As we explore the stunning Australian landscape, we’ll indulge in delicious snacks! Later, we will visit iconic landmarks such as the Sydney Opera House and the Great Barrier Reef.
