Week 1: Lego Challenge Part I
Start Date: JULY 3rd-7th, 2023
Description: LEGO bricks are a great toy to work the fingers as children build and even pick up LEGO pieces. Children love the thrill of building and they can do this for hours. This will encourage the development of fine motor skills and develop dexterity that can lead to better writing skills. Group projects will inspire cooperative play and build relationships while also giving a sense of accomplishment. Plus famous architecture builds, daily mini build, daily challenge builds & daily prizes!

Week 2: Little Georgia O'Keeffe (1887-1986) & Little Piet Mondrian (1872-1944)
Start Date: JULY 10-14, 2023
Description: Time to get our brushes and canvases out. Wear something comfortable and join us as we learn about: Georgia O’Keeffe, an American Modernist artist, She was known for her paintings of enlarged flowers, New York skyscrapers, and New Mexico landscapes. O’Keeffe has been called the “Mother of American modernism”. In the 2nd half of the week, we will travel to the beautiful country of Netherlands and learn about Piet Mondrian, the dutch painter, one of the greatest artists of the 20th century.

Week 3: Little Chef
Start Date: July 17-21, 2023
Description: Healthy living starts with knowledge! Join us as we learn about the food groups through singing, story reading, games and role-playing. In this hands-on course, we will be making simple pasta dishes, fruit smoothies, simple sandwiches, soup, snacks and more. Kitchen safety, learning how to clean up after and eating our creations is all part of the fun in this educational and tasty week! List of ingredients used for the week will be notified for allergies and health related concerns.

Week 4: World Music & Art (Ireland & India)
Start Date: July 24-28, 2023
Description: We will be exploring the traditional melodies of Irish music, celtic music, and their dance. We will learn how to play the tin whistles where it originated from Ireland. St. Patrick’s day, Shamrocks, Emerald Island, and Leprechauns will not be forgotten! 2nd half of the week, we will cross to the East and stop in India. Here we will learn about the music and art, architecture, food, and traditions of India, we will be cooking simple Indian cuisine.

Week 5: Movie Magic, Harry Potter and the Sounds of Music
Start Date: July 31 – August 4, 2023
Description: Do you love to watch movies with kids? We love movies! Good movies provide a lot of learning opportunities for kids and they can learn things they would not from other sources. In addition to watching the movies, there are a lot of simple things we can do to maximize the learning from them. Join us, as we explore the magical wizarding world of Harry Potter through spells and making props and crafts. Sing with us through the fields of Austria as we join Maria in the Sound of Music!

Start Date: August 7-11, 2023
