  • Week 1: Children of the Earth

    Start Date: July 4 – 8

    Description:  Is your child curious and wants to know how rainbows are formed? Why do some objects sink in water and others float? Scientists learn about their subjects by observing, describing, and experimenting. Please join us this week as we bring out your child’s inner scientist and learn about the importance of Global warming, living green, the health of the ocean, and more.

  • Week 2: Little Frida Kahlo (1907-1954) & Little Claude Monet (1840-1926)

    Start Date: JULY 11-15

    Description: Time to get our brushes and canvases out.  Wear something comfortable and join us as we learn about: Frida Kahlo, a Mexican painter known for her many self-portraits and other portraits inspired by artifacts of Mexico.  In the 2nd half of the week, we will travel to the beautiful country of France and learn about Claude Monet, the famous French painter who founded impressionism.  

  • Week 3: Lego Challenge Part I

    Start Date: JULY 18-22

    Description:  LEGO bricks are a great toy to work the fingers as children build and even pick up LEGO pieces. Children love the thrill of building and they can do this for hours. This will encourage the development of fine motor skills and develop dexterity that can lead to better writing skills.  Group projects will inspire cooperative play and build relationships while also giving a sense of accomplishment. Plus famous architecture builds, daily mini build, daily challenge builds & daily prizes!

  • Week 4: World Music & Art Scotland & Korea

    Start Date: July 25-29

    Description: Gud Mornin’ d’ya la’dy! Kilts, bagpipes, swords, and castles! In the first week, we will learn about the UK’s greatest people, the Scots!    Annyeonghaseyo! In the 2nd half of the week, we will cross to the East and stop at Korea.  Here we will learn about the music of ancient Korea and learn to write Korean calligraphy! 

  • Week 5: Movie Magic with Mary and Dorothy!

    Start Date: August 1-5

    Description:  Follow the Yellow Brick Road, join us as we do fun activities based on one of cinema’s greatest stories ever brought to screen, The Wizard of Oz. Dorothy, Tinman, Scarecrow, and Lion are all here! Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! Extraordinary!  In the 2nd half of the Week, we will be doing lots of song and game activities based on the classic, Mary Poppins. And remember, sometimes a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down! 

  • Week 6: Lego Challenge Part II

    Start Date: August 8-12
