“The theory of relativity occurred to me by intuition, and music is the driving force behind this intuition. My parents had me study the violin from the time I was six. My new discovery is the result of musical perception.” – Albert Einstein
“It is the right of every citizen to be taught the basic elements of music, it is not technique that is the essence of art, but the soul. As soon as the souls can communicate freely, witout obstacles, a complete musical effect is created”. – Zoltan Kodàly
“Musical activity involves nearly every region of the brain that we know about, and nearly every neural subsystem.” –Daniel Levitin
“Teach music and singing at school in such a way that it is a joy for the pupil; instill a thirst for music in him/her, a thirst which will last a lifetime.” – Zoltan Kodàly
I have experienced the magic of Let’s Play Music first hand with my youngest son. We had such a great experience, and it has formed the best foundation for my son’s love for music, not to mention his academic success. I have been amazed at the amount of learning that is present in every class period. Let’s Play Music packs musical learning disguised as ”play” into every minute.

There’s no time for boredom or distraction in Let’s Play Music as the lessons keep things moving with infectious enthusiasm and positive interaction with the children. Emma loves to sing the songs and sound them out on the piano. The songs are very age appropriate. She is learning musical concepts and shed doesn’t even realize it!

During my son Cristian’s Blue Bug semester we were in our car listening to the music from the Broadway musical Evita. Cristian, commented from the back seat, ”Hey, that music is just like ‘Oh What a Circus’ but slower and minor!” I was so surprised that he made that connection, having heard the CD only once before. I thought to myself, ”He’s really getting this stuff!” Thanks to Let’s Play Music, the whole family listens to music differently now!!! I love it. Truly, this program is wonderful!
